Praveen is Vice President and Civil Engineering Director of Asaturian, Eaton and Associates P.C. with prime responsibility for directing all the Civil Engineering projects.  Praveen received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from SIUC and is a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois.  Praveen has a vast experience and is very knowledgeable in site planning, drainage and storm flow computations, storm water detention options, erosion and sediment control, preparation of plans and specifications and cost estimates for site development projects and municipal public works projects, water distribution systems, roadways, parking facilities, recreation facilities, utility systems, IEPA, IDNR, and Army Corp of Engineer permits.  Mr. Sunny has had a broad range of civil engineering design experience with projects including recreation facilities, student and multi-family housing projects, health care facilities, educational institutions, roadways, parking lots, hotels, water and sewer utilities and office complexes.  Praveen can be reached at Praveen@asaturian-eaton.com.

Asaturian, Eaton and Associates was founded in 1982 in Carbondale and is a multi-disciplined Consulting Engineering firm experienced in and offering services in Municipal, Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering as well as all facets of Land Surveying. The firm is also prequalified by the State of Illinois Capital Development Board to offer services in all of the above engineering and surveying fields.  The firm offers engineering and land surveying services for educational, municipal, governmental, industrial, commerical housing, private developers and healthcare clients throughout southern Illinois.
 
As a well established southern Illinois engineering firm, with personnel who are long-time residents of the area, Asaturian, Eaton and Associates, P.C. has established an excellent working relationship with local governments, Illinois State Board of Education, Illinois Capital Development Board, Southern Illinois University, Illinois Department of Transportation, area utility companies, Illinois Department of Public Health, State Fire Marshal's office, the Environmental Protection Agency, and has an in-depth working knowledge of their procedures and requirements.  Our positive relationship with and working knowledge of these governmental units, institutions and utility companies is of great benefit in our service to our clients throughout southern Illinois.

Bob received his associate degree in Architectural Technology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.  He is a licensed Professional Land Surveyor in Illinois.  He has the overall administrative responsibility for surveying projects.  Bob, with 43 years of experience is acknowledged as one of the areas most experienced and expert land surveyors as well as a land development and site planner.  He has direct supervisory responsibility for all surveying and subdivision planning projects including legal and boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, subdivision design, lot surveys, easement and right-of-ways, construction layout and site plans for commericial, industrial, residential and hospital facilities.  He is intimately knowledgeable and experienced with area zoning codes, site planing right-of-way and transportation access issues.Bob can be reached at Bob@asaturian-eaton.com.

Armen received his B.S. in electrical engineering from University of Illinois in Champaign and his M.S. in Thermal and Environmental Engineering from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.  He is a registered professional engineer in Illinois, Missouri and Kentucky.  He has overall administrative responsibility for engineering projects.  Armen also has direct managerial responsibilty for the development and planning of municipal, environmental, electrical and mechanical projects.  He has 45 years of diverse engineering experience with a large variety of projects including municipal water and waste water systems; utility and infrastructure planning; parks and recreation and sports facilities.  He has substantial experience in the engineering of mechanical, HVAC and electrical systems for hospitals and healthcare facilities; nursing homes, congregate living facilities; churches; office complexes; commerical, retail and industrial facilities; public and private housing facilities. Rick received his Associate Degree in Architectual Technology from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.  He is a certified plumbing designer, a certified Illinois Capital Development Board (CDB) project manager and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professional.  As director of building systems engineering with 31 years of experience, he is the our liaison and chief contact person between our firm and our architectural and contractor clients on matters pertaining to building electrical, plumbing and HVAC system, Rick is also the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance specialist for the firm for electrical/mechanical systems as well as accessibility issues.  He is directly responsible for the design of complete plumbing systems, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems, electrical lighting and distribution for commercial, educational, housing, healthcare and office building projects.  He also develops energy efficient HVAC concepts and helps coordinate the building electrical, plumbing and HVAC system with the architechtural and structural elements of buildings.  Rick can be reached at Rick@asaturian-eaton.com.   

Marty Merrill, P.L.S.
Professional Surveyor

April 1994-Present

 

Marty is the senior Professional Land Surveyor at Asaturian, Eaton & Associates.  Marty received his Master of Fine Arts from SIUC and a Bachelors of Arts in Education from the University of Nebraska. He is a land surveyor, with responsibility for survey crew, surveying and mapping projects, including lot surveys, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, construction layout, subdivisions, easements and right-of-ways, writing legal descriptions, cost estimating, condominium surveys, individual lot surveys, and right-of-way surveys for transportation systems. He oversees complex construction and surveying projects for staking for earthwork, slopestakes, roadway construction layout, detailed curb and gutter parking lots, water main construction, storm and sanitary sewer construction, and numerous large building layouts including caissons, piers and footings with tight horizontal and vertical tolerance requirements, street, sidewalk and underground utilities, water treatment and water distribution systems, sewage treatments facilities and collection systems.
